THE SCANDAL NEWS CONTINUES
A pastor in Baltimore's Little Italy has been removed following accusations he abused a teenage boy.
The Jesuits have agreed to a $50 million settlement with 110 abused Eskimos.
In India a Claretain Missionaries school administrator has been charged with assisting a student to commit suicide.
Meanwhile the Diocese of Joliet relies on background checks to prevent sexual abuse and informs us that "The number of new complaints is down.” "Down", however, implies that some children are still being abused, which, I suppose, means that the diocese has not yet figured out how to eliminate first offenders.
