"FREEMASONRY AND JUDAISM"
is the title of a paper by Paul M. Bessel, of the Mt. Vernon Royal Arch Chapter No. 14 at the Henry Knox Field Lodge No. 349. It can be read at the masonicworld.com website.
According to this paper there have been Jewish members in Freemasonry from as early as 1768. This is in stark contrast to other sources which claim that Freemasonry discriminated against Jews until modern times. Bessel is a respected Masonic researcher. I tend to take what he writes to be accurate.
