LIFE IN THE PEWS IN CLEVELAND - ST. BERNARDS

As life would have it, a last minute family event decided for us where we would attend Mass today. St. Bernards is a catechism in paint and glass. It would be almost impossible for me to come away from this church without feeling uplifted. You can see a 360 deg. pan of the interior here, but it really doesn't do the church justice since the magnificent ceiling isn't visible. This is THE place to get married in Akron. This is also the church for Akron University students. The campus is across a bridge and within walking distance. The parking deck for St. Bernards is an Akron U. parking deck. One of the parish priests, from Africa I think, is a graduate student in chemistry at AU. Not even the twelve Extraordinary Ministers who distributed communion to probably two to three hundred were able to bother me in this place.
