NOTER DAME IS NO LONGER CATHOLIC
Get someone in there who can restore the mission or take "Catholic" out of their advertising and take Our Lady out of their name. They are insulting Her.
UPDATE
An article at Catholic online addresses what it means to have a Catholic identity, giving the four points from "Ex Corde Ecclesiae." No. 3 is particularly significant:
3. “Fidelity to the Christian message as it comes to us through the church.”
“A Catholic university has an obligation and a responsibility to make sure students are exposed to the church’s official teaching and the reason for that teaching,” Cesareo said.
“One of the things that sometimes happens is that the Catholic perspective is dismissed completely or presented in a way that is very subjective, as if that perspective is really not worth even consideration,” he said.
“I don’t think it’s saying that they are not going to be exposed to other ways of looking at a particular moral issue,” he added. “But when they do look at the different perspectives of a moral issue, it’s absolutely critical that not only the Catholic perspective is presented, but it must be presented objectively.”
When Notre Dame allows the presentation of "Monologues", does it accompany the presentation with clear Catholic teaching that this is sinful and morally offensive? That such behavior is repugnant to a person with Catholic sensibilities?
