CARDINAL RIGALI APOLOGIZES
on the diocesan newspaper website.
A small side matter...It's been claimed in the Catholic blogs, or perhaps it was on Catholic message boards, that the title "Cardinal" immediately precedes the last name. For instance "Justin Cardinal Rigali" is proper, but "Cardinal Justin Rigali" is not. Yet I notice that on the diocesan newspaper website the latter construction is used.
