ROSICRUCIAN ARTIST CHERYL ROSE

a San Francisco artist whose studio is located at the base of Mt. Shasta, has recently been featured in eight London newspapers according to the Mt. Shasta Herald. Her work was also featured in a 4-month exhibit at the Rosicrucian Museum in San Jose.

Pictures of her paintings can be viewed at her website where her bio indicates that her work is collected by Jean Houston, Gary Zukov, and Neal Donald Walsch. Her inspiration is drawn from psychic impressions and visions. The most striking feature of her art, apart from its unworldliness, is the eyes of her subjects which appear to be gazing on something haunting. As you explore her website, don't miss the paintings of Templars. Those would be the men wearing a red cross.

In addition to painting, Rose has worked with a travel agent to create a Black Madonna Tour of Southern France and a Templar Code - Mysteries of Scotland tour which includes Rosslyn Chapel according to the Upcoming Events listing at her website.

Rose's work provides the artistry (Notice the nun?) for Spiritual Clairvoyant Psychologist Dr. Doreen Virtue's Goddess Oracle Deck published by Hay House. Take a moment to read the bio for Dr. Virtue:

Doreen Virtue, Ph.D., is a spiritual doctor of psychology and fourth-generation metaphysician who works with the angelic, elemental, and ascended master realms. She is the author of22 books on mind-body-spirit themes, including Healing with the Angels, Divine Guidance, Angel Therapy, The Lightworker’s Way, and Archangels & Ascended Masters. Dr. Virtue is the founder and former director of WomanKind Psychiatric Hospital at Cumberland Hall Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee, and she served as an administrator at Woodside Women’s Hospital in the San Francisco Bay Area. Both all-women psychiatric hospitals specialized in treating women's psychological issues. Dr. Virtue also directed three outpatient psychiatric centers, including an adolescent drug & alcohol abuse center. Dr. Virtue has appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, CNN, Good Morning America, The View with Barbara Walters, Donny & Marie, Roseanne, and many others.

Rosicrucianism has gained mainstream acceptance in America; and as Rose's website and Virtue's bio at Hay House make clear, involve clairvoyance, channeling, divination. There does not seem to be any effort of discernment in their aproach. As any Catholic knows, angels come in two varities. What guarantee can these women offer that they are not contacting fallen angels?

"Catechism of the Catholic Church", No. 2116:

All forms of divination are to be rejected: recourse to Satan or demons, conjuring up the dead or other practices falsely supposed to "unveil" the future. Consulting horoscopes, astrology, palm reading, interpretation of omens and lots, the phenomena of clairvoyance, and recourse to mediums all conceal a desire for power over time, history, and, in the last analysis, other human beings, as well as a wish to conciliate hidden powers. They contradict the honor, respect, and loving fear that we owe to God alone.

Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us!

UPDATE

A reader spent some time exploring Rose's website and sent in this link to Our Lady of Medjugorje. Traditional Catholics, take warning.
