CATHO-PHOBIA
Threshing Grain has linked a NewsMax story out of France about a chocolate company that may no longer send chocolate to school children if it's shaped in Christian symbols. They've wasting no time over there in making Catholicism disappear from the landscape. I thought this newly coined term for it was interesting. From the website:
Bruno Frappat, editor of the Catholic daily La Croix, wrote: "In 1968, the slogan was, 'It's forbidden to forbid.' In 2004,it 's, 'Forbidding is a must.' And one of the phobias most in vogue is Catho-phobia."
"Catho-phobia"
"Christianophobia"
"Christophobia"
The last one still has my vote for best choice of terminology.
